What we are
CertPrepAcademy is a free study tool for healthcare workers preparing for certification exams. We currently cover three credentials: the CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), the CMA (Certified Medical Assistant, AAMA), and the CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, NHA).
All of it is free. No free trial. No “first 10 questions” teaser. No account required. Your progress is saved locally in your browser so nothing is tied to a login.
Why we built it
Most exam prep is overpriced, padded with irrelevant content, or locked behind subscriptions. Healthcare workers — many of whom are already in low-wage roles while completing their training — shouldn't have to pay $50+ for a decent practice test.
We built CertPrepAcademy to fix that. Each certification, done right, completely free.
Content standards
Our practice questions are written to align with the official content outlines published by the certifying bodies — NNAAP/Pearson VUE for the CNA, AAMA for the CMA, and NHA for the CCMA. Each question includes a full explanation of why the correct answer is right and why each incorrect option is wrong.
We review content regularly. If you find an error or a question that seems outdated, please flag it — there's a “flag this question” link on every practice question page.
