Missouri's Registration Requirement

Required under Missouri statute §338.013 for anyone assisting a pharmacist or with independent access to legend drug stock. Distinctive: Missouri does NOT require PTCB/ExCPT certification for basic registration itself — but national certification IS required to reach 'qualified pharmacy technician' status, the gate that allows administering vaccines/medications. No statewide minimum-education requirement for basic registration (age 18+ only). Applications moved to the new MOPRO online portal effective August 4, 2025.
